I have another layout to share about my time in Paris 🙂 There are a couple of bridges that go across the Seine river on which people will put “love locks”. The fiancé and I weren’t aware of this custom during our first trip to Paris, so we made sure to bring a lock this time around. We decided to put our locks on the Pont de la Concorde because we were already nearby (even though there are fewer locks on that particular bridge). I tried to place it in an area where I would hopefully be able to find it again in the future. We all threw our keys into the river at the same time while making a wish (on hindsight, keys rusting away at the bottom of the river probably isn’t very good for the river ecosystem…).
I got the inspiration to cut the vellum circle die cut (Heidi Swapp ephemera pack) from Sandy Ang who did something similar on one of her layouts a few months back. I used lots of heart motifs on this page including a scrap of Dear Lizzy “Lucky Charm” paper and silver heart stickers from Heidi Swapp. I really like the look of 3 small photos lined up horizontally side by side–I’ll have to try that again soon. The size of the photos are all 2″x3″ in landscape format.
